SIMBS X DIRTY GIRLZ TENNER: QUEENS OF THE DUMP

On Saturday, June 6th, Hartland Bike Park hosted a full day of women's and non-binary community enduro racing, and it did not disappoint. Low barrier, high vibes and a lot of fun: exactly what we came for.

The Tenner is all about making racing feel welcoming. There's no pressure to be the fastest and no need for a podium-ready race bike. Just show up, ride your best and have a great time doing it. For plenty of riders it was a first race. For others it was a chance to push their pace on home trails among friends. Either way, the trailside cheering made every racer feel like a queen of the Dump.

Made possible by SIMBS

Huge shoutout to SIMBS for putting this whole event together. Race logistics, registration and keeping the day running smoothly were all them. Events like this take a huge amount of behind-the-scenes work, and SIMBS made it look easy.

Dirty Girlz was proud to sponsor the day. We pitched in on pizza and lent a hand where we could. Supporting events that get more women and non-binary riders racing is a big part of what we're about, and we'd happily do it again.

Aloha, Hartland

And of course, our first-ever Tenner costume theme did not disappoint. Leis, Hawaiian shirts and plenty of tropical drip made the luau vibes real. Racers showed up in full-on island style, flowers poking out of helmets and loud prints flapping down the descents. It was impossible to ride past the start line without smiling. Mark our words: costumes are here to stay.

The results

Twenty-four racers hit the trails across three categories, each with room for riders at every level, including youth and e-bike categories:

  • Cruise Control: for riders who want to race at their own pace

  • Feral: for riders ready to let it rip a little

  • Hot Laps: for riders chasing the clock

Full results are available here.

Thank you

Congratulations to every racer who came out to send it, whether it was your first race or your fiftieth. A huge thank-you to everyone who volunteered, timed and cheered from the sidelines to make the day happen. Community races only work because people give up their Saturday to help, and we see you.

Can't wait for the next one. See you on the trails!
